Mr. Tony Wisson is a Chartered Meteorologist with over 17 years of experience in weather and climate services. Based in Exeter, England, he currently holds a dual role at the UK Met Office as an Expert Operational Meteorologist, serving as both Deputy Chief Meteorologist and International Meteorologist. Previously, Mr. Wisson specialized in learning and development at the Met Office, serving as Course Director for the Operational Meteorological Technician course and leading multiple training programs. His expertise also extends to marine meteorology, where he provided emergency consultations for maritime safety, including advising a mid-Atlantic sailing vessel in May 2019 to ensure safe navigation back to the UK.

His career includes experience as a Senior Operational Meteorologist, Hydrometeorologist, and Weather Observer, covering aviation, commercial forecasting, flood prediction, and international meteorology services.
